Location: Ong Ich Khiem (the corner of Ong Ich Khiem and Hung Vuong, near city center)

Outside Street Food: 3pm-6pm

The most alluring thing at Con Market is THE FOOD. People have named it “The cuisine
from heaven”. It is does not only attractive local people or the young but also tourists from
all over the world. If you are a foodie, you cannot miss this market and when you get there,

you cannot control you temptation with different kinds of food. There are two food areas
including inside and outside.

 

Food Court – Inside Con Market

The inside one is called “Food Court”, you can enjoy and dig into salty food such as My
Quang (Quang Noodles), Bun Bo (beef rice noodles) and all kinds of local food in Da Nang
and sweet food such as sweet soup, fruit juice and so on. “Food Court” opens at the same
time as the Con market’s opening time.

The outside one is called “The Heaven of Street Food” It is quite crowded and hectic but it
doesn’t matter because it is a special place to be on the liveliest part of the day where you
can also relish the busy atmosphere and people huddle together at stalls to enjoy street food.
Oh, remember that outside street food just opens from 3pm to 6pm. So make sure that you
will not miss anything interesting at Con Market.

tailors in Da Nang. Moreover, if you want to get some traditional clothes like Ao dai, this
is the best and right place ever. Here are some stalls that sell varied fabrics and silk, too.

 

It is easy to find a wide range of available clothes, accessories, shoes, flip flops and so on.
Han Market still has some special and local food but it is not as diversified as Con Market.

Bac My An Market
Location: (near Pham Van Dong beach – the most beautiful beach in Da Nang)
Opening time: 7AM-7PM

It is one of the biggest markets in Da Nang, it is not really near the center but if you stay
near the beach, Bac My An Market is the best choice for you to shop and buy all the things
you need. Bac My An Market has various goods such as household items, clothes,
accessories or dried food.
Furthermore, fresh seafood is the most impressive and attractive item for tourists who fall in
love with seafood such as fish, squid, shrimp and so on.

Bac My An Market is worth choosing if you want to experience and try out some local
food, especially Kem Bo (Avocado with Ice Cream – one of the best places in Da Nang sells
this kind of food). The most wonderful thing is the price of those food here cost so little. So,
no hesitation to get there if you just can afford cheap items.

Shopping at some local markets is a wonderful and unforgettable experience because you
not only buy and get the things you need with good quality and at a reasonable price but you
also can enjoy and experience the life of local people, the bursting atmosphere and
sprawling areas. It is totally worth spending time at these markets.
